Our vision
To build a global home for STEM excellence and cultural exchange, where students from different countries collaborate, innovate and learn from one another.
Global Robotics Challenge
An international robotics, programming and innovation competition bringing together students aged 6–24.
A world of possibility
The Global Robotics Challenge (GRC) is an international robotics, programming and innovation competition platform for students aged 6–24, organized by Discovery Academy for Science and Technology.
Since its founding edition in 2024, GRC has grown from a single regional round in Cairo into a platform spanning three continents — Africa, Asia and North America — with International Finals hosted in Los Angeles, USA (2024) and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (2025).
The GRC journey
GRC launched with regional rounds in Egypt, followed by the 1st International Finals in Los Angeles, USA.
The 2nd International Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia welcomed teams from eight countries.
Multiple regional rounds are taking place in Egypt, with the next International Finals ahead.
What brings us together
To build a global home for STEM excellence and cultural exchange, where students from different countries collaborate, innovate and learn from one another.
To connect students through international competitions in robotics, programming and innovation, sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in STEM.
What makes GRC different
Robotics, programming, AI and cybersecurity, and innovation—all part of one event.
Move from regional rounds to an international final on one connected journey.
Built with the support of government, academic and federation partners.
